Eureka Spring’s Passion Play

August 31-September 1, 2012

Friday:   We enjoy lunch en route and then arrive in the charming town of Eureka Springs.  We check into our hotel and head to the Texan’s Gospel Music Dinner Theatre for a delicious meal and a variety of music and comedy.  We cap off the evening with the spectacular outdoor drama of the Great Passion play.  This updated production is of the last few days of Christ’s mortal life on earth and is portrayed by a cast of hundreds. 

Saturday:  Following breakfast this morning, we return to the Passion Play grounds and tour the Bible Museum.  On the way home we plan to stop in at the Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage, Missouri. Inspired by Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel in Rome, Precious Moments artist and creator, Samuel J. Butcher, designed and constructed the Precious Moments Chapel.
