Branson in June
June 5-7
Travel with Kincaid as we remember the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. Be a part of the opening season for Joseph. Be entertained with the award-winning Hoorah for Hollywood, voted Branson’s 2011 best new show. Throw in the Twelve Irish Tenors and Yakov’s Dinner Adventure and you have a trip which will be long remembered.
Day 1: Tuesday, June 5: This morning we will depart the OKC area and pick up more passengers in Tulsa en-route to Branson. Lunch today (on own) will be at the famous Lamberts, home of the Throwed Rolls. Our first show after arriving in Branson will be Joseph at the beautiful Sight and Sound Theater. “Of all the characters in the Bible, perhaps Joseph is the best parallel to the character of Jesus that can be found. During a time of an "eye-for-an-eye and a tooth-for-a-tooth" mentality, Joseph's story of forgiveness and integrity has made this Bible story a timeless truth, inspiring generations of men and women to walk uprightly in the midst of great temptation”. Day 2, Wednesday, June 6: Be sure to fuel up at breakfast this morning as a full day of shows and fun awaits us today. Celebrating 50 years of the greatest films of Hollywood with an all singing, all dancing movie musical Hoorah for Hollywood is our first show of the day. Your toes will be tapping and you will feel
like breaking out in a song before the show is over. After a quick lunch (on own), our next entertainment will be the Twelve Irish Tenors who have delighted audiences world-wide with their varied musical selections…from classical to pop, to jazz to folk. Whatever their song, audiences love them! To cap off our day’s entertainment we will be dined and entertained at the Yakov’s Dinner Adventure. Where else in Branson can one witness a beautiful love story, be entertained with 15 action-packed performances while indulging in a scrumptious candlelit dinner? (B,D)
Day 3: Thursday, June 7: Following our hot breakfast at our hotel we will board a replica of the RMS Titanic and experience first-hand what it was like to walk those hallways, cabins and parlors. We will walk the Grand Staircase, feel the 28 degree water and try to stand on the sloping decks as we remember that fateful day a century ago. Then it will be time to say goodbye to Branson (for now). (B)
